Cloudflare open-sources Forge, a pipeline that generates SDKs, CLIs and docs for agents

Cloudflare introduced Forge, an open source, pluggable generation pipeline for producing SDKs, CLIs, docs, and libraries — free for anyone to deploy.
- Built because Cloudflare's API now spans 3,500+ operations across services written in Rust, Go, TypeScript, and Python, and the existing generators couldn't scale to a unified CLI, SDK, and docs.
- Forge already generates the cf CLI output and will power Cloudflare's API docs and SDKs over the coming months.
- The motivating idea: treat agents as customers. CLIs, SDKs, MCP servers, and good docs are now table stakes for every product, and Forge lets any team generate all the surfaces agents need.
- Teams can preview builds of the generated CLI/SDK/docs before merging API changes, avoiding accidental pipeline breakage.
