Cloudflare open sources Forge: one pipeline to generate SDKs, CLIs and docs

Cloudflare introduced and open sourced Forge, a pluggable generation pipeline that turns OpenAPI specs (and other inputs) into SDKs, CLIs, docs and libraries.
- Why: Cloudflare's API spans 3,500+ operations across Rust, Go, TypeScript and Python; building a CLI for the entire API required a codegen pipeline that scales and flexes across languages and teams.
- Agents as customers: CLIs, SDKs, MCP servers and good docs used to be developer-product niceties — Cloudflare argues they are now table stakes for every product.
- Engineering value: product teams get preview builds of the CLI/SDK/docs before merging API changes, cutting coordination overhead and catching pipeline breakage early.
Forge already generates output for the cf CLI and will power Cloudflare's API docs and SDKs in the coming months; it's free to deploy and run.
