Cloudflare's agent-first Kitesurf browser adds WebMCP, passes 730k WPT subtests, runs in terminals

Cloudflare shipped a major Kitesurf update for its agent-first browser running entirely on Workers:
- WebMCP support: agents can call site-exposed functions like searchFlights() instead of simulating clicks, testable on Cloudflare Radar.
- Broader standards: new CSSOM, CSS Typed OM, custom elements, URL-based module resolution, JSON modules and import maps; WPT subtest coverage grew by 500,000 to 730,000+.
- Agent-loop optimizations: fewer Boa↔DOM round trips, cheaper timers and font loading — wall-clock time and CPU usage stay at or below launch benchmarks despite more standards.
- Full Browser Run API coverage: CDP, Playwright, Puppeteer and MCP, plus Quick Actions via the env.BROWSER.quickAction() binding.
Rendering is decoupled from the server-side page session, enabling a terminal client via the Kitty graphics protocol (with a pure ANSI fallback) that also forwards mouse/keyboard input — useful for seeing what an agent "sees".
