Developer Wuyang Zhou ran a striking experiment: he gave GPT-6 Astra one goal—obtain a diamond in Minecraft using computer-use capabilities—then went to sleep.
When he woke up, a diamond was in the inventory. Astra operated the game entirely on its own: gathering resources, crafting tools, exploring caves, and managing inventory for hours until the objective was complete. The takeaway: AI is shifting from answering questions to agents that receive a goal and work independently until it's done.
