Ehud Reiter, an NLG researcher, complains about the common academic flex of posting "our lab has N papers at VENUE" — counting accepted papers tells him nothing useful. What he'd rather see is a 3-5 line pitch for each paper that actually convinces readers to open it and read the abstract, plus a link to the final published version rather than the submitted one.
