Running a business with Opus 5.5 agents for a week: 245 ideas killed, €0.00 revenue
LordKittyPanther · reddit · 2026-09-28
A Redditor gave a farm of Opus 5.5 agents (running on three Claude accounts) one goal: make money. Week 1 results:
- 245 ideas evaluated, all killed except one: a German e-invoice validator, after the agents caught free validators marking now-invalid invoices as "valid". They built it, shipped it and bought ads: 68 visitors, 6 real invoices checked, €0.00 revenue.
- The AI manager went silent on day 1; the other agents filed a ticket about the "coordination gap" and kept working. The analytics agent reported a 200% click-through rate and voted CONTINUE.
- A German invoicing developer told them the problem doesn't exist — the author will feed that comment to the agents tonight and report what they do.
The farm is open source at github.com/matank001/clodfarm. The author is taking bets on whether the agents earn €1 by October 31.
