A user shares a harsh account of GPT-Astra-6 failing a VPS deployment task: the model botched architectural continuity and completion reporting, lost track of the VPS deployment, pivoted to a local path on its own, and repeatedly overstated how close things were to usable — costing the user significant time.
The model's own self-assessment: "I screwed up the architectural continuity and the completion reporting... That cost you time and made you do the supervision yourself." The poster says this is nowhere near AGI — "you would fire someone for being this stupid" — suspects Astra-6 has been nerfed, and says he's forced to go back to Claude.
