Reviewing agent-filled grocery carts in the Instacart UI sparks debate on agent-native interfaces

Developer koomen shares his workflow of letting the Muse agent fill his shopping cart, then reviewing it through the Instacart UI. He envisions interfaces where he can speak feedback while watching the agent update contents in real time, occasionally tweaking by hand.
His core argument: UIs should be designed from scratch for collaborating with agents — getting things done together without giving up control over the output. He doesn't want to juggle purpose-built single-task agents; a single general assistant, he argues, is the form factor that will win.
He leaves an open question: Instacart is presumably building its own agent, and Meta could build a great shopping UI for Muse — but who is willing to rebuild Instacart's entire business?
