Red Queen Bio Uses AI and Wet Labs to Build Medicines Against Natural and Synthetic Viruses

Red Queen Bio, working with WSJ reporter Georgia Wells, shared new details of its mission: pairing AI with heavy wet-lab work to create medicines that prepare for both natural and synthetic viruses in advance — pieces of a "bio-shield" coming together. Author sholtodouglas also plugs Hannu Rajaniemi, the company founder behind it, and his acclaimed sci-fi trilogy The Quantum Thief (reviewed by Gwern).
