Gabriel argues people obsess over finding Elon Musk's individual bad decisions, but very few decisions are truly important and irreversible—and Musk keeps getting those right, while everything else can be retried. He calls this the free-market equivalent of the Bitter Lesson, later adding that everything will demand exponentially more energy, compute, infrastructure, and autonomy.
