Blogger predicts all major US AGI labs will reach AGI in 2027, then ASI

AI blogger DrSingularity shares observations on the path to AGI/ASI:
- He feels Opus 5.5 gives strong AGI vibes (80%-90% there), but intelligence still needs to move into the physical world; a few breakthroughs in humanoid robot training remain.
- He believes Anthropic hasn't discovered any magical formula, so SpaceXAI, Google and others will follow soon given their existing and rapidly growing compute.
- He predicts Anthropic, SpaceXAI, Google, OpenAI and likely Meta will all achieve proper AGI in 2027, with ASI possibly arriving the same year.
- He estimates a few GW of compute suffice for strong AGI, while 10-20GW and eventually 100-200GW come online — making 2027 "an utterly insane year."
