RTX 5090 Owner Generates 180 Clips Locally to Build a Transformation Video in ComfyUI
Clasyc · reddit · 2026-09-28
Reddit user Clasyc shared a fully local workflow for a transformation video:
- Roughly 180 videos were generated over a full day and stitched into one short film.
- Initial images came from Krea2; all later edits used the Qwen 2.1 edit model.
- Video generation relied on image-to-video with first/last frame technique.
- Everything ran through multiple ComfyUI workflows, then was assembled in a video editor.
- Upscaling used the author's custom-trained model "Skrisp Texture" (not yet released, planned for later), plus many custom nodes for color work.
- Hardware: RTX 5090. Soundtrack: The Glitch Mob - "We Can Make The World Stop".
The author admits consistency is still far from ideal and some motion pacing is off, but considers the result good enough for now, and links an uncompressed version.
