Economist paulnovosad laments talks full of generative-AI text on slides: it signals you either can't express your ideas or didn't bother. Afinetheorem adds the deeper problem — outsiders can't tell whether you put real care and your own knowledge into the lecture and merely used Claude for slides, or phoned the whole thing in and the audience could have skipped the talk entirely.
