Per TrendForce, global data center power demand is projected to hit 490.7GW by 2030, while available grid capacity for data centers is just 222.6GW — a supply-demand gap of 268GW. The US alone is projected to face a gap exceeding 170GW by 2030. Beth Kindig flags implications for NVDA, AMD, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.
