Muse's phone-call feature sparks debate: agentic commerce needs agent-to-agent interaction
bansalg_ · x · 2026-09-28
Muse's new phone-call feature is turning heads: AI agents can now place calls to interact with humans or other systems to complete commercial workflows. The poster draws a key architectural lesson from it — not all agentic commerce is computer use; many scenarios fundamentally require agent-to-agent interaction, whether with people or other AIs.
The distinction matters for agent product design: screen-operating agents alone can't cover phone and voice-based business processes that need real-time multi-party communication.
