Polymarket launched a prediction market on whether any US state enacts a data center moratorium, currently pricing 24% by end of 2026. Qualifying legislation must expressly prohibit, suspend, or pause approval, permitting, construction, grid connection, or operation of new data centers statewide (threshold-based bills count); tax incentive suspensions or local-level limits don't. Rules run through end of 2027.
