AI filmmaker: fewer than 5% of creators use AI as true creative filmmaking

An AI video creator argues that if you don't use AI like a human director, your output ends up as "AI slop." AI is magic only when you understand filmmaking fundamentals—storytelling, taste, emotion, pacing, framing, performance, and direction will always require human creativity and judgment.
In his view, most AI videos today are slop, and fewer than 5% of creators use AI as true creative filmmaking. His advice: learn filmmaking first, then use AI to expand what's possible.
