Mathematician Littmath says that while he previously framed it as "if I was a student," he personally finds AI-generated content demoralizing too. A few weeks ago at a conference (not about math), one talk appeared to use a fully AI-generated slide deck — an odd experience, he writes, to watch someone give up so much control over what they're expositing.
