AI researcher Scott Hawley announced he is leaving academia and moving to New York to become Director of AI Alpha Lab at Hudson Bay Capital Management. He cited the chance to work with CAIO Joe Miller (formerly of Hyperstate) as a major draw, noting the firm's science maps well onto his background.
