SJTU Spin-off Unveils UnitarySpark: Desktop Quantum Workstation Driven by Natural Language
量子位 · wechat · 2026-09-27
Unitary Quantum, spun out of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, launched UnitarySpark, a heterogeneous computing base that packs quantum simulation, GPU acceleration and AI agent interaction into one local workstation, alongside the Unitary Lab 2.5 beta. An AI agent turns natural-language problem descriptions into executable quantum workflows—cutting roughly 12 manual coding steps to 3 sentences per an NVIDIA case study. Its core 'Schrödingerization' algorithm converts non-unitary differential equations into unitary quantum evolution, enabling unified quantum paths for continuous scientific computing problems. Data stays local for compliance, and a Circuit API bridges simulator to real quantum hardware with partners including QuantumCTek.
