Genie 4 watch: a year after Genie 3, predictions of a 'holodeck' world model intensify

Blogger David Patterson says it's been over a year since Genie 3 launched, arguing it's time for Genie 4 and predicting a 'holodeck'-style generative world model is coming soon.
Quoting his own earlier post, he recalls that Google DeepMind released Genie 3 just hours after he wrote about creating virtual worlds from a single prompt, calling it the most realistic world model so far and expecting rapid improvement.
