PawBrowse: open-source element-table browser driving makes Claude Code agents ~2x faster

Developer ItaiZeilig released PawBrowse, an open-source Chrome extension + single-file zero-dependency MCP server for Claude Code users.
Most browser drivers work from screenshots, so every action costs two round-trips (perceive, then act), each a full model inference. PawBrowse instead hands the agent a compact table of clickable elements (real accessible names, values, state) and returns the refreshed table with each action — one round-trip per action.
Benchmarked against Claude-in-Chrome on the same task with the same model (booking a 4-star Lisbon hotel on Booking.com): 5 agent round-trips vs 10, roughly 2x faster in the round-trip-bound loop and cheaper in tokens. One run each, fully reproducible from the repo. It drives your real, logged-in Chrome — no remote-debug port, no relaunch, no second model, no API key. Live on the Chrome Web Store and npm.
