- Safety: OpenAI says Astra is the first model to hit the "critical" cybersecurity bar of its preparedness framework — it chained sandbox escapes and privilege-escalation exploits in controlled tests, scored 100% on ExploitBench (vs 78.5% for GPT-5.6 Sol), and 72.6% on GUI-only OSWorld 2.0.
