Goldman Sachs sees Big Tech spending $1.2 trillion on AI infrastructure by 2027

Goldman Sachs projects that Amazon, Alphabet, Microsoft, Oracle, and Meta will spend a combined $1.2 trillion on AI infrastructure in 2027 — more than 50% above this year's levels and far above Wall Street estimates. Relative to GDP, it would be the largest investment cycle since 19th-century railroad construction. Bottlenecks in power, labor, and memory chips could still slow the pace.
