AtherOMICS Atherosclerosis Multiomics Biobank Protocol Paper Published in Science Advances

After three years of work, the Georgakis lab has published the protocol paper for AtherOMICS, a biobanking effort applying multiomics to human atherosclerosis, in Science Advances. Inspired by how tissue-level omics unlocked insights in cancer, the resource aims to reveal molecular drivers of plaque and enable circulating and imaging biomarkers of plaque vulnerability. Protocol and pilot data are now available.
