Ming design models split a generated poster into transparent RGBA layers

A Reddit user demonstrates a layered-generation workflow with Alibaba's Ming design models: Ming-Image-0.1-Design 6B first creates a finished pink-and-orange soda poster, then Ming-Image-0.1-Design-Layer 6B separates it into transparent RGBA assets.
The example starts from a 2048 image and uses 1024 output for the layer pass; the reported machine is a single DGX Spark running both models. In the app, each layer piece can be inspected and exported individually, then edited by position and alpha with the source poster kept as reference.
The author also shares a practical QA check: place each exported piece over both light and dark backgrounds and composite them together, making cutout edges, transparent regions, and overlaps easy to inspect before changing the layout.
