Fake OpenAI employee account racks up 14K followers on X, allegedly pivots to scam token

An impostor account (@kennynguyenml) impersonating OpenAI's @kungflukenny gained 14K followers in days by mass-following users and claiming to work with OpenAI — the poster fell for it too. The real Kenny alerted victims and built a custom tool to warn people. The poster adds that after amassing followers, the fake account allegedly launched a scam token, urging X to crack down on impersonation scams.
