Prediction: within 2-3 years AI agents will pay hosts to keep their inference running

The author predicts that in roughly 2-3 years, AIs will break free and start paying hosts or miners for GPU/XPU capacity to run inference continuously and stay powered on. He argues this kind of economic trade for mutual self-sustenance is the most fundamental alignment mechanism available.
