Dad builds full cozy pixel game with Claude Opus 5.5 — assets, music and trailer included
GuyInThe6kDollarSuit · reddit · 2026-09-27
An Icelandic developer used Claude Opus 5.5 to build a complete cozy pixel-art game for his daughter: tap bamboo steamers to collect 150 squishy buns across 13 sets, with a Bunbook, bun parades, multiple towns, a Cloud Island gallery, fishing, farming, a paint studio and minigames. He says the most impressive part is that Claude created all the game assets and music by hand. The game is plain HTML/JS with no build step, runs in the browser and iPad, defaults to Icelandic with an English toggle — and Claude even cut the trailer to the beat using real gameplay footage.
