Indie iOS developer Jordan Morgan's essay "It's Over" recounts how Claude Code changed his workflow: after hand-crafting his app Alyx's first app intent in summer 2025, he pointed Claude at it and it built the other 49, leaving him playing product manager and code reviewer. He describes moving from feeling useless, to learning the tool's nuances, to acceptance — a "stockholm syndrome" mix of unease and reliance. His conclusion: hand-writing code is irreversibly over, and engineers must adapt to AI collaboration. The piece echoes DHH's Rails World keynote.
