A Cisco engineer who spent the weekend with Meta's Muse agent calls it the most careful consumer agent sandbox he has used:
- Per-user VMs: every consumer gets their own Linux microVM — unprecedented at Meta's scale.
- The agent never sees passwords; credentials stay outside the sandbox.
- A second agent (Sentinel) gates egress: anything leaving the box requires approval.
- Full audit trail on every action.
He notes Cisco recently rolled out the same pattern internally for over 80,000 employees and is now extending it to all product users.
