TrendForce: Data center power capacity to hit 161GW in 2026, up 31% YoY

TrendForce projects global data center power demand capacity at 123GW in 2025, rising to 161GW in 2026 (31% YoY), 211GW by end-2027, and 490.7GW by 2030. The firm says continued CSP CapEx expansion and server shipments will keep annual growth above 30% through 2027, and warns the grid supply gap will widen in 2028.
