A developer released Arvik, a beta computer-use AI assistant for Windows and Android with near-zero setup: extract, install, and go on Windows, no VMs or API plumbing required.
- Accepts natural-language instructions spanning websites, files, terminal commands, system operations, multi-step tasks and scheduled workflows
- Android app lets you drive it from your phone
- In a live test it created an Instagram account, handled verification, found another account and sent a follow request, switching strategies and retrying after a verification failure
- Still beta, reliability imperfect; the author is soliciting developer feedback
