maxsloef · x · 2026-09-27
Original release post of maxsloef's style-elicitation eval: giving a model a named style reference (e.g., James Turrell) produces much better work than a similar set of adjectives (dreamy, gentle, luminous) — even when the model chooses the reference itself. He released the eval as Namedrop; follow-up blind tests show named references won 68% of 90 landing-page pairs.
