Indie Dev Adds MCP to His Website Monitoring Tool So AI Agents Can Check Sites

The author added an MCP server to Baromio, the website and API monitoring tool he is building, so users can query monitoring data through an AI assistant: are all sites online, are any SSL certificates expiring, did any site get slower, what went wrong.
Answers are based on real monitoring data. The free plan includes 20 monitors and read-only MCP access; paid plans let the agent manage monitors and help find incident causes. He asks for feedback on whether people would use it and what else they'd want an agent to check.
