Known AI developer yacineMTB shares his experience of being a "wagie" again: with frontier models he can scale out testing and red-teaming infrastructure to find breakage points in a way that was simply not possible before.
His take:
- A lot of people, and he means a lot, are working on things that are totally automatable
- Teams and teams of people used to do this work; one person plus models now covers most of it
- Example: customer-complaint pipelining software could be replaced by a few frontier model token streams managing a database by rules and routing reproductions to humans
He concedes some things only he can do, but calls the throughput gain miraculous.
