Raspberry Pi's H1 report shows inventory memory costs soaring from $3.6/GB at the end of 2025 to $13.3/GB by end of June — a 3.7x jump in six months. Its CEO blames memory makers for diverting capacity to AI datacenters, meaning the AI buildout is effectively billing the rest of the electronics market, with spillovers to consumer storage and RAM prices.
