Capsule packs an HTML app plus its SQLite data into one portable .capsule file
JeremyCMorgan · x · 2026-09-27
Capsule bundles an HTML app and its data into a single .capsule file with an embedded SQLite database; entries carry UUIDs and timestamps so diverged copies can merge. Sandboxed with no network by default, built in Rust and Tauri, with a format spec promised at 1.0 (treat as early). Tools can be described in plain text or coded in standard HTML/JS, run locally offline with no servers or subscriptions, and are shared like a PDF via AirDrop or messaging apps, with AI-assisted build templates for ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
