Turn off ChatGPT's 'Improve the model for everyone' switch to stop training on your data

A viral reminder: when setting up ChatGPT (or any chatbot) for less tech-savvy relatives, the first step should be disabling the training-data option — which OpenAI obscures behind the sweet-sounding label 'Improve the model for everyone'.
The fix: go to Settings → Data controls → toggle off 'Improve the model for everyone' to stop your conversations being used for model training.
