Meta announces Horizon Create and Studio, prompt-to-game engines for FB/IG

At Meta Connect 2026, Meta announced Horizon Create and Horizon Studio, two "game engines" that turn plain-text prompts into playable 2D/3D games with environments, characters, mechanics, and multiplayer support, auto-distributed across Facebook, Instagram, and Horizon.
The gamedev community (e.g. GameFromScratch) is skeptical, calling it AI-slop game generation locked inside Meta's social feeds.
