OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra can now look at a photo and correctly identify whether an IKEA furniture piece was assembled incorrectly, hitting 80% accuracy — a huge leap from the 28% the best model managed in November 2025, reports The Decoder.
According to Epoch AI, the model still isn't fast enough for real-time assembly guidance, but the gap is closing quickly.
