A first-hand review of Muse's Mac client:
- Custom connectors are the highlight — built purely through conversation, hiding all complexity behind a chat box, at most asking for an API key.
- No-API fallback: when no API exists, the client fetches data via the browser using cookies. Example: create a zlib connector and download epub books just by naming them.
- Verdict: the underlying model is average, but task understanding and execution precision are strong.
- Sandboxing causes some friction, though overseas connectivity is smooth. It also batch-installed Skills from a GitHub repo by prefix.
Overall: mediocre model, impressive productized orchestration.
