Microsoft standardizes on GitHub Copilot SDK across products, ex-engineer reveals

David Fowl, formerly a distinguished engineer at Microsoft, says the Copilot brand was once implemented independently across many Microsoft products with wildly varying experiences. Now the company is standardizing on a single harness — the GitHub Copilot SDK — company-wide, which he calls a monumental achievement for a company of Microsoft's size.
