ChatGPT Pro user regrets switching from Claude: 'output never what I asked'

A Reddit user who switched from Claude Max (after burning through limits in 20 minutes) to ChatGPT Pro a month ago says he regrets it daily and wants to return.
His workflow: planning in Fable and implementing in Opus via Claude Code. On ChatGPT he tried Astra for planning with sol for implementation, plus Astra alone. He found Claude's output far better with little back-and-forth, while ChatGPT's results rarely matched requests, needed heavy fixes, and still had errors — even after porting over his Claude.md and memory.md. He asks whether he's using ChatGPT wrong or Claude is genuinely better.
