Robotics funding window: humanoids 2-7 years from homes and businesses, wave of funding ahead

In a reply to Robert Scoble, theobot argues the robot revolution is underway: the world needs thousands of different kinds of robots, and humanoids will bring them into homes and businesses. The most conservative robotics estimate in San Francisco puts this 10 years out; most say two to seven. That timing is why a wave of robotics companies is about to get funded, in what he calls a window for potentially huge returns.
