A rebroadcast of Yann LeCun's remarks, in which he asked where domestic robots, Level-5 self-driving, or cat-like AI systems are, argued AGI is still far off, and insisted AGI won't be built on LLMs (though LLMs may serve as text interfaces).
The reblogger called it 'a very accurate read,' endorsing LeCun's stance as clear-eyed amid current AI hype.
