From Columbia's World Leaders Forum on AI + Culture: Disney director Jennifer Lee pushed back against the "AI replaces creativity" narrative — technology keeps changing, but storytelling does not. Tools have evolved from sketching to digital animation, yet Frozen still took a crew of 600 people.
In her view, success ultimately comes from humans creating an emotional connection with audiences, not from the tools. The panel also featured Runway co-founder Anastasis Germanidis and World Bank President Ajay Banga.
