Developer slams Anthropic: UX-fixing feature eats into your weekly usage budget

Developer gerardsans complains that Anthropic updates keep translating into hidden costs absorbed by users: a feature meant to improve UX is paid for out of the weekly usage budget. He mocks the "audacity to fix a broken UX as a brag," recalling when Anthropic offered to charge separately for fixing code Claude itself wrote — "double billing for a defective service."
