All-synthetic hospital simulation: doctors can't tell real from fake patients, built for RL

Tim Dettmers says his team built an all-synthetic hospital simulation that can be shared publicly without privacy issues. He claims the data quality is so high that physicians cannot tell real from synthetic patients, and the fully verified data is ideal for RL training.
AccBalanced adds that Dettmers, along with @htaneja and @revaflava (General Catalyst), are pioneers in high-operational-empathy, data-driven healthcare investing.
