AI-Generated Love Song for Mistress Played at Murder Trial Becomes Instant Infamy

In a nationally streamed murder trial, prosecutors played two AI-generated love songs that defendant Caleb Flynn, a former American Idol contestant, created for his mistress using ElevenLabs — one upbeat, one in a minor key — leaving the courtroom trying not to laugh.
Forensic investigator Joseph Wilhelm testified he obtained a full file system extraction of Flynn's iPhone via Graykey's Magnet tool, recovering the AI audio files, lyrics in the Notes app, location history, Oura Ring sleep data, Apple Watch heart rate, and evidence that Flynn deleted an "AI music song generator" app days before the murder. After the songs ended, the court fell silent for several seconds before the judge called a recess.
